MARK VANWELL, OWNER
Mark has over twenty-five years of masonry experience and expertise in masonry. Twenty- two of them as a masonry contractor in Washington state. Mark has built projects from single family remodels to large residential communities and commercial. His current focus is meeting the needs of the construction industry. With the beauty, function and sustainability that masonry provides. He volunteers his time and resources to construction industry organizations and community volunteer projects. He also participates as a registered training agent for the Washington state Department of Labor and Industries apprentice ship program. Mark’s philosophy of proper training, flexible team work and professional business ethics keeps him unsurpassed as a leader in the masonry industry.
TIM CARPENTER, VICE PRESIDENT / PROJECT MANAGER
Tim has been with VanWell Masonry for eight years. His unsurpassed management skills and team work mindset is what keeps all our projects completed in a professional and efficient manner. He has a passion for working with the client to create and maintain budgets, schedule man power and material to achieve the desired result. Tim holds certifications in construction management, OSHA 30, CPR, Scaffold Erection, Equipment Operation and Recognized Journey man brick layer by the Washington state Department of Labor and Industries. We are proud to have him on our team.
DHARMEN PRASAD, ESTIMATOR
Our newest addition to the VanWell team. He has worked as an estimator on the general contracting arena for nine years with experience in both residential and commercial contruction. He carries degrees in estimating and construction management. His experience in the construction industry is a valuable asset and will enable VanWell Masonry to bring our clients projects on budget.
JOHN VANWELL, FOREMAN
Coming to VanWell Masonry in 1996 as a hodcarrier, John is one of VanWell Masonry’s more seasoned employees. As such, he has had an opportunity to help in molding our growth in his career of field management. John holds certifications in masonry training, OSHA 10, CPR, Scaffold Erection, equipment operation and is recognized journey man mason by the state of Washington Department of Labor and Industries. With his last name of VanWell, John has an emotional connection to this company, as well as his work. John pays an even closer attention to the details of the work, knowing his name is on it.
MATT STUDER, FOREMAN
Matt started with VanWell Masonry in 1999 as a hodcarrier, with hard work and dedication to the residential and commercial aspects of masonry has put him in a field management position a tender young age of 30. Matt is recognized as a journeyman mason by the Washington state Department of Labor and Industries. He also holds certifications in OSHA 10, Scaffold Erection, Foreman Development and Equipment operation. Though Matt’s twelve year tenure may be short compared to some, there are no short comings in Matt’s ability to manage the field for any jobsite.
BRAD MORFORD, FOREMAN
A twenty three year veteran of the masonry industry, coming to VanWell in 2001, Brad has an extensive background in field management, as well as certifications in OSHA 10, Scaffold Erection, and equipment operation. His ability to work with others and solve challenges allows him to complete projects that are not only pleasing to the eye, but are on time and on budget. He is a complement to our industry, and we are proud to have him as our team mate.
MARTIN BRYANT, FOREMAN
A devoted representive of the Masonry industry. Martin has been with VanWell Masonry for four years. With his twenty three years of Masonry experience and ability to create solutions to any challenge he stands as a vital compliment to the masonry industry. Martin holds certifications in OSHA 10, CPR, Scaffold Erection, and equipment operation. We hope to have Martin with us for many years to come.
CONNIE VANWELL, OFFICE MANAGER
Connie came to VanWell Masonry in a part-time role in 1995. As we grew, so did the demand for office structure. In 1998, Connie started full-time, stepping up to create and maintain whatever support was needed to keep VanWell Masonry operating at peak performance. Her job description includes the hiring and overseeing of the office staff, bookkeeping, payroll, employee insurance and billing. She is diligent in making sure all office procedures are performed and followed
